Michele Li-Fay
Founder
Michele has over 12 years of experience in Retail, with a majority of her career in eCommerce. She began her journey in Buying, first at online childrenswear retailer AlexandAlexa, then at PVH, who house powerhouse brands Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Nike Underwear. After multiple internal moves and promotions, she joined the PVH Marketing team as Digital Business Development Manager, where she honed her eCommerce and Digital Marketing skills.
Michele has a wide experience with various markets and languages. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she learnt German, French and Mandarin, is fluent in English and Cantonese. At AlexandAlexa, she gained insights into the Middle Eastern market, and at PVH, she worked closely with colleagues in the Scandinavian and Dutch markets. She has first-hand knowledge and insights on both Eastern and Western markets, and understands that there are nuances in each region that need to be understood and respected in order to be successful.
Having worked in both a startup and a global corporation, Michele understands the struggles and challenges small businesses face when up against their more established counterparts, and that this can be an intimidating prospect for any entrepreneur taking that leap of faith. This is what led to the founding of Mpowering Solutions, to empower small and medium business owners and entrepreneurs with stronger digital knowledge to grow their businesses, and to help improve their presence online.
Kobe Fay
Chief Morale Officer
Kobe is a 2 year old Shiba Inu who loves cuddles and belly scratches. Having spent a lot of his puppyhood in the PVH offices, Michele's desk saw a +125% in visits whenever Kobe was present, as her colleagues would trek up three flights of stairs for a quick cuddle (with Kobe, not Michele). This naturally resulted in Kobe becoming the first Morale Booster Associate of the company--a title he proudly held till Michele's last day at PVH.
In his spare time, Kobe loves trips to the beach and playing with his friends in the park. Equally, he loves lounging in the sunrays and napping. However, as Chief Morale Officer, he will available to be invited on work calls, so feel free to request his attendance and, if his diary is free, he will be there!
Joey Fay
Chief Quality Inspector
Joey is an 8 year old Netherland Dwarf who has run the Fay household from a young age. He has very exacting standards, including specific hay that he likes (Timothy only, for those who know), making him the perfect fit for Chief Quality Inspector.
Joey has been caught napping during work hours, but as he is nearing retirement, we have moved him to a part-time basis. Therefore, while he may not be able to attend work calls, rest assured he is ensuring Mpowering Solutions is being run to his high, exacting standards!
