Michele Li-Fay
Founder
Michele has over 12 years of experience in Retail, with a majority of her career in eCommerce. She began her journey in Buying, first at online childrenswear retailer AlexandAlexa, then at PVH, who house powerhouse brands Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Nike Underwear. After multiple internal moves and promotions, she joined the PVH Marketing team as Digital Business Development Manager, where she honed her eCommerce and Digital Marketing skills.
Michele has a wide experience with various markets and languages. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she learnt German, French and Mandarin, is fluent in English and Cantonese. At AlexandAlexa, she gained insights into the Middle Eastern market, and at PVH, she worked closely with colleagues in the Scandinavian and Dutch markets. She has first-hand knowledge and insights on both Eastern and Western markets, and understands that there are nuances in each region that need to be understood and respected in order to be successful.
Having worked in both a startup and a global corporation, Michele understands the struggles and challenges small businesses face when up against their more established counterparts, and that this can be an intimidating prospect for any entrepreneur taking that leap of faith. This is what led to the founding of Mpowering Solutions, to empower small and medium business owners and entrepreneurs with stronger digital knowledge to grow their businesses, and to help improve their presence online.
